Things to Come - The "Film Story"

The "film story" of Things to Come, adapted by H.G.Wells from his earlier novel The Shape of Things to Come, was published late in 1935, several months before the film was released.  It does not follow what would now be regarded as the standard structure of a film script, but rather a hybrid of that form and a novel, and is preceded by a length introductory section.  For easy of access, it has been divided into four sections, which will be available progressively, and later in annotated form with reference to the surviving version of the film.
